Alumni working in Bangladesh

In March 2023, faculty members and alumni of the Graduate School for International Development (current International Education Development Program, Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences) gathered in Bangladesh.

  • Mr. Kenichi Jibutsu (Senior Consultant, Education Development Division, PADECO Co., Ltd.; completed master’s course in March 2009) is a JICA expert on Projects in Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea (Deputy-team Leader and Science Education), and Local Government Project in Papua New Guinea (Science Textbook Development).
  • Ms. Nanae Yasukawa (Consulting Department, IC Net Limited; completed master’s course in March 2021) is a JICA expert of Technical Cooperation Project in Bangladesh and Papua New Guinea (Mathematics material development/Technical education material development/ Project coordinator).

  • Dr. Mohammed Rashel Uddin (completed doctor’s course in September 2020) is working as an Education Expert with European Union TA team in Bangladesh. His role is to provide technical support to government officials to perform their assignments in primary education, especially in research and curriculum dissemination.
  • Ms. Sharmin Hena (completed master’s course in September 2020) is working as an Instructor (General) at PTI(Primary Teacher Training Institute) Narayangonj under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. She is mainly responsible for providing professional training to primary school teachers. In addition, she is now working as Key Trainer in the curriculum dissemination training program.
