Autum 2026 Degree Conferment Ceremony

On 18 September 2026, the Degree Conferment Ceremony for the International Education Development Program, Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (and the Educational Development Course, Graduate School for International Development and Cooperation) was held.

11 doctoral students and 17 master’s students received their degrees.
Our graduates are from a wide range of countries, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, and Uganda—a total of 10 countries.

In the Ceremonial Address, Program Director Prof. Shimizu encouraged the graduates, saying, “Don’t be afraid to fail; keep taking on new challenges and keep learning.”
