International Education Development Program welcomes new students

On April 3, 2026, Hiroshima University held its entrance ceremony, and 27 new students (5 doctoral students, 17 master’s students, and 5 research students) enrolled in the International Education Development Program, Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The new students come from a wide range of countries, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Japan, Myanmar, Peru, South Korea, the United States, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu and Vietnam—a total of 13 countries.
Program Director Prof. Shimizu delivered a congratulatory address, and both faculty members and new students introduced themselves.
We look forward to learning together across nationalities and generations!
