International Education Development Program welcomes new students enrolling in the Autum 2026

On October 1, 2026, Hiroshima University held 2026 Autum Term Entrance Ceremony, and 49 new students (9 doctoral students, 26 master’s students, and 14 research students) enrolled in the International Education Development Program, Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

 

The new students come from a wide range of countries, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam—a total of 17 countries.

 

Program Director Prof. Shimizu delivered a welcome address, and both faculty members and new students introduced themselves at the orientation.
