Global Internship (G.ecbo) Program (NB)
The Global Internship Program is an educational program for all graduate students, centered on internships mainly overseas. Students in the master or doctor course are dispatched to developing countries for one to three months, and internships are conducted based on pre-planned research themes. The aim is to develop researchers who can adapt to diverse fields and new challenges, train professionals who can lead the frontline in international cooperation and aid, and also train international students and trainees worldwide for highly specialized professionals. Internships are conducted in the following three categories.
- Overseas internships in which Japanese and international students are dispatched to developing countries, or other countries
- Domestic internships in which international students are dispatched to companies and institutions in Japan
- Third-country internships in which trainees from developing countries gather in a third country for training based on their experiences in Japan
(NB) G.ecbo is an abbreviation for Global Explorers to Cross Borders.
